TBHB is a Brussels based Rock'n'Roll band.

Four schoolboys (2 Belgians and 2 Brits) picked up the guitars in 2002 and formed THE BIG HAT BAND in Nivelles, Belgium. After a few early gigs and their first basement demos, the band was invited to open for the Australians POWDERFINGER at the Botanique in Brussels in 2004. Next came the self produced EP, 'The Number 10 Sessions', which let to a series of support gigs with Pete Doherty's BABYSHAMBLES and THE KOOKS in 2006. By the end of the year, the band were rewarded with victory at the French Community of Belgium organised 'Concours Circuit' competition. The bass/drums rhythm section also served as the backing band for THE TELLERS during this time. In 2008, they recorded 2 raw tracks with the British producer Teo Miller (BLUR, PLACEBO, ROBERT PLANT) leading to the release of their debut single 'Couldn't Say No', which received airtime on radios such as Pure FM, Studio Brussel and FM Brussel. This was followed by a string of shows at the AB, the Botanique, the Muziekodroom in Hasselt, the VK, the Fleche d'Or in Paris and the Grand Mix in Lille, supporting acts such as MANDO DIAO, THE PIGEON DETECTIVES, THE BLOOD ARM, DAS POP and BB BRUNES.

After developing various side projects (HEY YEAH! and THE JOHNNIES - Tribute to THE BEATLES) the lads were back in 2011 under the name TBHB, opening for PUGGY and CARL BARAT (THE LIBERTINES) at Brussels' Botanique, and Hindu Nights gigs (Leuven and Vooruit in Gent) among other things.

TBHB will return to the recording studio by the end of the year to lay down some tracks with the producer Rudy Coclet (ARNO, dEUS, GIRLS IN HAWAII) with plans for a single release in 2012.
